Turnkey Solar Fuel Saver EPC Project – Abu Dhabi Petroleum Site

Meagle Energy has delivered a turnkey EPC solar fuel saver project for a petroleum site in Abu Dhabi, integrating solar PV generation with the site's existing diesel generator network.

The project covers the complete Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) scope, from system design and equipment supply to installation, commissioning and performance testing.

The solar fuel saver system is designed to maximize solar energy utilization while maintaining the stability and reliability of the site's diesel-powered electrical network. An intelligent control system continuously monitors solar production, site load and generator operating conditions, allowing the PV inverters to dynamically regulate their output.

This enables the facility to reduce diesel fuel consumption and operating costs while maintaining reliable power supply and protecting the generators against conditions such as under-loading and reverse power flow.

The project combines solar PV, high-performance inverters, monitoring, protection and advanced control systems specifically engineered for a demanding industrial environment.
